Nikola Johnny Ranković is the youngest rock n’ roll author, winner of the reward “Hero of
Belgrade”, “The Venturer” for daily newspaper “Novosti”, and special reward “EXIT
YOUTH HERO” for the year 2016. He won two times at competition “Band Contest”. On the
UK Songwriting Contest 2015 in London, competing with 70.000 songs, he entered to
semi-finals as a composer and songwriter for the song “Hot or Cold”.
He published his first album/cd “I am doing it my way”, with only 12 years old, where he
presented himself as a complete author of all lyrics, music, arrangements, including
playing on all electric guitars and singing. It is the first rock n’ roll album in the world,
completely accomplished from authorial side by young person in the period from his 7th till

He also published a single under the name “Harley, Les Paul & Rock n’ roll”. The guest
playing lap steel guitar for this song is Zika Jelic from “YU Group”.
He is the youngest author and member of “Serbian Music Authors’ Organization”. He also
recorded a music video for the first song from the album “Move yourself”, and for the song
“Fear”. Aside from guitar, he plays piano and mandolin. He sings in several languages. He is
attending Music Production school since he was 9 years old and working independently in
Cubase, a music production software. Johnny’s long-term plans are studying to become a
music producer at “British & Irish Modern Music Institute” (BIMM) in London, where he is
already preparing for an Entry Exam, including preparation for his future humanitarian
contribution. After two surgeries, Johnny lives with an inverting organ, diabetes and only
one half of the heart.He is music and life hero.
